Doctor Tsering Tashi was born in May 1986 in Chilime (Rasuwa, Nepal), into a family of practicing Buddhists of the Nyingma school.

At the age of 8 he became drawn to medicine and went to study at Dongak Ling monastery. For nearly seven years he studied medicine, rituals, meditation and the foundations of the Dharma. In 2011 he entered the Sowa Rigpa Institute, where he mastered traditional Tibetan medicine and the teachings of the Yuthok lineage. He received the Kachupa degree (2016) and then the highest medical degree, Menrampa (2020).

Doctor Shonu is not only a physician but also a researcher. He studies the causes of illness and the body’s mechanisms of recovery in depth, and prepares natural medicines himself according to the authentic methods of Sowa Rigpa.

What does he treat?

For over 15 years, Doctor Tsering Tashi has helped people with chronic conditions: kidney and liver diseases, the gastrointestinal tract, gout, and blood disorders. At the heart of his approach is deep pulse diagnosis, which reveals the root of the problem rather than just the symptoms.

How does he treat?

Beyond natural medicines, Doctor Tsering Tashi works with traditional breathing therapy and offers practical guidance for everyday life: nutrition, ways of thinking, and recovery through breath and meditation. His goal is not temporary relief but restoring the body to balance.

Doctor Tsering Tashi has devoted his life to study and practice, and gladly shares his knowledge at seminars and lectures.
