🌼 Choekhor Duchen: the Day of Buddha's First Teaching 🌼

On July 18 (Saturday) we invite you to the Namgyal Stupa to celebrate this special day together.

On this day we commemorate the Buddha’s first teaching after Enlightenment: the moment when the instructions that opened the path to liberation from suffering were given for the first time.

A play, a warm atmosphere of connection, and a chance to spend this day meaningfully and with inspiration await you. ✨

Program:

– Kora, a guided tour, refreshments, a talk about the Duchen, a play about the Buddha, a dialogue on the Four Noble Truths.

– Online program with Latvia, exercises, a talk about the 12 deeds of the Buddha.

– Healing fire and smoke ritual

– Life release ritual (releasing fish)

– Light offering

You are welcome to bring food to share at the common table.

Start at 4:00 PM, ending around 8:00 PM.
